Mary has experience with a variety of litigation matters, including complex mortgage foreclosure proceedings, securities arbitrations, and commercial proceedings. She has represented financial institutions and mortgage servicers in high-risk foreclosure matters, drafting motions seeking summary judgment, and renewal and reargument of prior decisions. She has also worked with state and local villages to record mortgage satisfactions and to update property ownership and lien records.
Prior to joining J. Robbin Law, Mary represented mortgage servicers in complex foreclosure proceedings in New York state court. She also represented investors in securities arbitrations before FINRA, handling matters involving broker misconduct, unsuitable investment recommendations, breach of fiduciary duty, failure to supervise, and violations of federal securities laws.
While at St. John’s University School of Law, Mary served as Associate Director for the Duberstein Moot Court Competition. She received the Court Call Award for Advocacy for the highest grade in Appellate Advocacy, as well as Dean’s Awards for Excellence in both Evidence and the Securities Arbitration Clinic.
Mary has been selected to the New York Metro Super Lawyers “Rising Star” list for 2025.
